SPB Group: acquisition of M-REP in Austria
The SPB Group, European leader in affinity insurances and services, announces its establishment in Austria with the acquisition of M-REP through its subsidiary SPB Services, specialist in second life of high-tech and electronic products in Europe.
M-REP is specialized in repair and services related to smartphones. This acquisition allows the SPB Group to offer its repair known-how to the global smartphone market leader Samsung Electronics in Austria. Thus, M-REP manages on behalf of Samsung two technical repair centres located in Vienna and Graz: Samsung Customer Services Plaza (SCSP). These two centres are dedicated to the repair of devices either for In Warranty (IW) or Out of Warranty (OOW) for the manufacturer Samsung, for instance in case of breakdown or damage of smartphones or tablets.
This acquisition also allows the SPB Group to expand its presence in Europe as part of its strategy to accelerate business development. Indeed, the SPB Group aims to achieve more than 50% of its turnover internationally by 2020.
