Patrick Rivière appointed EVP Information Systems of the SPB Group

The SPB Group, the European leader in affinity insurance and services, has announced the appointment of Patrick Rivière as SPB Group’s EVP Information Systems. He reports to Christelle Legrix, EVP Operations of the SPB Group and a member of the Executive Committee.

A graduate of École Centrale de Paris, Patrick Rivière began his career in 1989, working for a range of institutions, both public (Ministry of Agriculture) and private (Oracle France, Etam, Unilog Industrie). In 1999 he joined the Euler Hermès group, the world leader in inter-company credit insurance, as Head of IT Development at international level. He joined BNP Paribas Cardif in 2006 as International IT Director, before moving on in 2008 to Presstalis, a print media distributor in France, as Director of the IS renovation programme.

In 2011 he was named Director of Information Systems at the Boursorama online bank, where he developed the web and mobile strategy, contributed to the efficiency of back-office operations and the customer promise, and managed the transformation of the IT delivery model. He also coordinated Boursorama’s IT teams (in France, the UK, Spain and Germany) with a view to reducing costs and pooling IT resources.

Patrick Rivière joined LCL in 2014 as Director of the Digital Bank, responsible for implementing a new IT strategy. He also served as Director of LCL’s digital transformation programme, developing the bank’s multichannel strategy and redesigning the customer experience through digital media, mobiles and data.

In 2017 he became Director of Information Systems at Axa Partners and Axa Assistance, where he was in charge of the group’s digital transformation, the objective being for the group to take advantage of all the benefits of the Cloud and optimise the operational resilience of its solutions.
