Fabrice Pesin joins SPB as EVP Insurance

The SPB group has announced the appointment of Fabrice Pesin as EVP Insurance. He reports directly to Jean-Marie Guian, chairman of SPB.

Fabrice Pesin is 48 years-old and graduated from the France’s Ecole Polytechnique and the National School of Statistics and Economic Administration. He distinguished himself by a brilliant career in the areas of banking-insurance-finance in both the private and public sectors, notably within the French regulator Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel et de Résolution (ACPR) where he closely followed insurance brokerage. Fabrice Pesin began his professional career in 1997 at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, before joining the German Federal Ministry of Finance in 2001. After having been a financial advisor at the French Embassy in Berlin from 2003 to 2004, he returned to the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, first as head of the Tax Studies Office, then in 2007, as Deputy Director Insurance of the Directorate General of the Treasury. In 2010, he joined the French regulator ACPR, of which he became the general secretary. In 2015, he was appointed by the President of the French Republic as a national credit mediator and president of the Observatoire du financement des entreprises. As of 2018, he is moving towards mid-sized companies in the private sector. In this capacity, he joined the family mortgage broker CAFPI as director of strategy and innovation.

In an unprecedented economic context, his qualities will be key to focus on our strategic goals. "

With appointment of Fabrice Pesin, the new organization of the group is now achieved. Thus, the Executive Committee, chaired by Jean-Marie Guian, includes 3 Business Units (Insurance, Services and International) and 4 support functions (Finance and strategy, Human Resources, Communication, Audit and risks). The Supervisory Board is chaired by Yves Lebidois.
